USA East to West / part 1

CHICAGO -  RICHMOND
At the moment Im visiting my cousin Ania in Chicago. But now she decided to move to Seattle in Washington state. We are going to live there for some time in Lena's house - Ania's good friend. Lena just bought a car in Richmond. Its opposite side of America. And because we are going to drive to Seattle anyway, we suggested her that we can pick her car up from Richmond and bring it to here. I can drive so it shouldn't be a problem for us as for Lena and here husband. So when everything was set up with the car and our stuff were already packed we drove to Richmond to take my temporary black huge Acura.

Ania was driving from Chicago to Richmond. I just drove for two hours to learn how to drive car with automatic transmission as I never did that before. I had to prepare myself for such a long drive through all states. Two hours were enough :D

Because I start driving Acura from Richmond I call this trip from EAST of States to WEST or even from Washington city to Washington state. Two girls will drive two cars for nobody knows how many days.

East part of state are quite boring. Not much interesting things on the way. 14 hours driving, lots of cars on the way and gas stations. We veer really happy we are living Chicago. Since I came there weather was sucks! I hate cold, at least I skiing, but I wasn't there so this trip made me feel better. We went through this states:

We arrived to Richmond at midnight. We slept 10 hours. What we saw in the morning was really amazing. Sun and +7C. I can't remember such a good weather. We both loved that! We felt like new born!
We drove to Riva - Ania's friend house and we were suprised how beautiful Richmond is. Its not a big city. Everything is neat and in right order. Houses and backyards are so clean. So cute! We like the place!

So we visited Riva for lunch. She cooked for us so good that we couldn't stop eating. Grilled vegetarian food and few salomon pieces. That was very nice time with Riva and her daughter. We left her place twice bigger than we were when we came there. Yummy Yummy! Thank you girls!

I love those roads here in states. They are wide and flat. So many kilometres and there is no even one whole in asphalt!!! Can you believe that? I love to be here. I love to drive here! Tomorrow the real trip is about to start because from now on we are driving two cars. We are ready for Seattle. GO GIRLS!
